Both courses, designed by Fred Hawtree and Hugues Lambert, offer a blend of technical challenges and natural beauty, featuring tree-lined fairways, strategic water hazards, and undulating terrains.
Founded in 1965, Golf Club de Lyon moved to Villette-d’Anthon to create two outstanding courses set in harmony with nature. Les Brocards (par 72, 6,105 m), with its long par-3s, doglegs, and subtle greens, is both elegant and demanding, having hosted the French Open (1979) and the European Tour’s Open de Lyon (1992–94). Les Sangliers (par 72, 6,575 m), opened in 1991, winds through pristine woodland with water on nine holes and highlights like the par-3 14th over water and the dramatic par-5 18th.
